Worlds of Fun :
Worlds of Fun, one of the regions largest family fun park destinations has over 235 acres of rides and attractions. The park, built in 1973 centers around Jules Verne’s book, “Around the World in 80 Days”—it is here that you can travel to Africa, Asia, Europa and Americana without leaving the park. With over 100 rides and attractions, including six world-class roller coasters, live entertainment, and kids adventures, it’s no wonder Worlds of Fun is one of Kansas City’s favorite attractions. Worlds of Fun Celebrates its 35th Anniversary in 2008.

Hours :
Worlds of Fun is open weekends only in April and daily from May 17th to August 24th, then weekends only through November 2, 2008. Hours of operation vary during the season. Check the World’s of Fun Calendar for further details.

Rides and Attractions:
In 2006, Worlds of Fun introduced the $14 million dollar Patriot-one of the longest and tallest full-circuit inverted rollercoaster’s in the nation. The park also brings back its most popular thrill rides, including the Timberwolf, Detonator, Boomerang, the clothes soaking Fury of the Nile and the Monsoon. If that’s not enough, Worlds of Fun also has attractions the whole family can enjoy-head to the ‘I Love Rock N’ Roll’ review, or Perondi's Extreme Canines for some great entertainment.Camp Snoopy :
For the kid in all of us, Worlds of Fun has Camp Snoopy--a one acre interactive attraction just for families. Besides having the whole Peanuts Gang running about, they’ve got the Woodstock Express--a fun for all train ride, Snoopy’s Camp Bus and the RED BARON, a swinging airplane themed around Snoopy's famed adventures as the the fearless fighting pilot.Eats:
There are great places to eat everywhere you look at Worlds of Fun. From burgers and pizzas on the go to sit down meals--there truly is something for every appetite, taste and budget. The All-Stars Grill and Zarda Bar-b-q are both great for dining in and taking a break. But for families on the move, head to the many quick bite places around the park. The Vittle Griddle and Rangoon Refresher are faves of park goers throughout the years.
