KC Renaissance Festival :
The Kansas City Renaissance Festival, now in it's 33rd year, opens on Labor Day weekend. With over 16 acres of games, rides, 500 costumed characters, 160+ shops and artisians it's something to see. And don't forget that Giant Turkey Leg!!!
Santa-Cali-Gon Days:
Santa-Cali-Gon Days is a long standing Labor Day weekend tradition on the Historic Square in Independence, Missouri (112 W. Lexington). Over a quarter million folks head to the festival which lasts Friday-Monday. It's got a great line up of entertainment, and admission is FREE.
