Mardi Gras, (or Fat Tuesday to most) is the celebration before before Ash Wednesday, and is also called "Shrove Tuesday" or "Pancake Day". Most people associate Mardi Gras with New Orleans, but celebrations are found around the world...even in Kansas City. Head to one of these great Fat Tuesday celebrations.

The 17th Annual Kansas City Blues Society Pub crawl lets you listen to some serious blues at six local jam spots including Knuckleheads, BBs, and Blayneys.

Every Tuesday in February is Fat Tuesday at the Legends at Village West's newest hotspot, Corona Cantina. With tunes mixed by DJ Kirby from 9pm-1:30am, $1 margaritas, and $1.50 tacos--Corona Cantina is the place to be on Tuesday's all month.
