Brookside Art Fair

Brookside Art Fair :


The Brookside Art Annual celebrates its 24nd year by showcasing over 185 artists, May 2-4th, 2008 in Brookside. The artists present almost every medium- with everything from ceramics and paintings, to mixed media and weavings. With over 80,000 art lovers in attendance last year, the Brookside Art Fair has a relaxed and inviting atmosphere with (some) moderately priced pieces. The artists also seem happy to speak with you about their works and will often share stories about their inspirations.

Art Annual Location:


The show is held under huge white tents at 63rd and Brookside between Wornall and Oak. Parking can be a predicament --most locals park in the neighborhoods and walk (but watch those NO PARKING signs).

Hours:


  • Friday, May 2nd: 5pm - 9pm
  • Saturday, May 3rd: 10am - 9pm
  • Sunday, May 4th: 11am - 5pm

Food and Entertainment:


The Brookside Art Annual has music in the evenings children's art activities on Saturday and Sunday. Local restaurants also have food booths located throughout the fair. But don't forget, there are pleanty of great places to eat, drink and be merry around the Brookside area.
